I’m a London-based writer and editor specialising in cars and design for national and international magazines, newspapers and websites including Car Design News, The Daily Express, Business Car, Blueprint and Wallpaper*.
After 14 years writing and editing for various consumer and business magazines – including the launch of the highly influential car culture magazine Intersection as its deputy editor – I went freelance in late 2006. Now I attend the majority of the world’s major auto shows from Paris to Tokyo to generate news, features, analysis, profiles and opinion pieces and have road-tested the vast majority of vehicles available in the UK since the mid-90s. Equally happy commissioning, sub-editing and proofing, I have also acted as an editor for special supplements, one-off magazines and a 400-page book.
Beyond cars and design I write about art, music and lifestyle, act as a consultant for a variety of high-profile clients and write reports for trends forecaster The Future Laboratory and its associated website LifeStyle News Global.
